Purely Optical Filters

Our technology is purely optical. A filter generation that removed all mechanical and thermal components - in contrary to all products given. Our chips are controlled by electric fields in nano-scaled structures. This is the little secret how we can achieve extreme high-speed switching: below 1 micro-second, this is about hundred thousand times faster than any other commercially available wave length selective switch. 
By the way: we of course registered our technology for patent protection^*). 

Our optical filters can be used as wave-length selective switches for different tasks:

• classical optical add-drop multiplexer
• flexibly reconfigurable add-drop multiplexer
• chromatic dispersion compensator
• optical connectors between processors
• on-board optical networks incl. high-security optische LANs
• angular wave-length selectors

We developed three product families on the platform of a unified optical chip:

• SwAtt:
  elektrically controllable optical switch and attenuator
• TunF:
  elektrically tunable optical, wave-length selective filter
• ReconF:
  elektrically reconfigurable optical, wave-length selective filter
